These large-scale events and activities confirm the highly successful development of a home-grown Canadian popular music industry from the 1970s LP the early 2000s. This campaign ends in disaster and sees the near-total annihilation of the army tasked with this mission. Supposedly he s a legendary figure.

Transformer is a type of decadent cabaret comparable to Bowie's Aladdin Sane, but less bleak, more colourful and life-affirming. Reed proved himself to be a master of many styles, from the compelling rock of Walk On The Wild Side through the tender and tuneful pop of Satellite Of Love to the dreamy Perfect Day, a haunting poetic sticonaraninopmeotechraylacknecperg.xyzinfos:

Its 11 songs included two from Lou Reed, three from Transformer (among them, of course, this album's title track, Reed 's sole chart hit), one from Berlin, two from Rock N Roll Animal (one of which is "Sweet Jane" minus the introductory fanfare), and the title tracks from Sally Can't Dance and Coney Island Baby, plus the previously non-LP B-side "Nowhere at All."9/

" Walk on the Wild Side " is a song by Lou Reed from his second solo album, Transformer (). It was produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson, and released as a double A-side with " Perfect Day ". The song received wide radio coverage, despite its touching on taboo topics such as transsexual people, drugs, male prostitution, and oral sex.

The Bowie / Ronson influence and production of this album is strongly evident and enhances Lou's songwriting to a new place and level post Velvet Underground. This album is responsible for his only real "hit", Walk on the wild side. However the entire album and every song is equally as strong!/5().

"Transfomer" is by far one of my favourite albums of all time. Lou Reed captured New York's ambience in an unique melodic way. Hits like "Walk on The Wild Side" and lesser known songs like "Make Up" can captivate anyone. The bonus tracks are interesting, but nothing too special. I bought this for the actual album, and didn't get disappointed/5().

The album contains several of Reed's most enduring classics, including "Walk On The Wild Side", "Perfect Day" and "Vicious". Transformer is ranked #55 in NME's list of the Greatest Albums of All Time. "A glam manifesto as outrageous as Lou Reed himself " - Rolling Stone "A Classic" - Trouser Press.
